I had this vision of me playing my PSP games on my HDTV through the remote play feature of my PS3...however, I'm starting to think that this would not be possible as, at a minimum, I would need an HDMI port on the PSP. At any rate, what good is Remote Play? Isn't it more like ''Remote View Your PS3 XMB And Transfer Files But Not Play Games''.?Thanks!Remote Play, Am I Wrong?
Hahaha, much agree'd. This made me laugh. Remote Play, Am I Wrong?
You can play PSP games on your HDTV using a special component cable. The games don't display in high-def, of course. Remote Play is really geared more towards the PSP accessing content on the PS3. Supposedly Lair and a few other games work.
Ya, Remote Play has it's downfalls. While it's nice to access your music and movies you might have on your PS3 from any place you can connect wirelessly from, playing games on it kinda stinks. There's a good amount of lag between button presses and the associated actions taking place, which makes playing most games (that support the feature) pratically unplayable.

I've noticed no lag when playing Bionic Commando ReArmed with Remote Play on my PSP... Probably depends on the game.

You don't seem to know the purpose of Remote Play, no offense

You're aware of the options menu though, right? You're able to bump up the controls and tone down the graphics a bit to deal with this issue. It makes most ps1 titles very playable.
