Yeah, Crisis Core is a prequel to FFVII. It reveals what happened to Zack and reveals how Cloud Strife got his buster sword from FFVII and how Sephiroth turned evil. Great game though, the cutscenes are incredible
crisis core is really great game..but you should deff try out FVII to get a feel of the game.
Crisis Core is a great game but not the best. Try beating Crisis Core and then watch FF VII The Last Order in order to get some missing story line from Crisis Core.
