Which one should i get? PSP Slim (2000) ...

I'm getting one on May next year and i'm not quite sure which one of these PSP versions i should get. Any opinions? :DWhich one should i get? PSP Slim (2000) ...
Okay, I just got the 3000 for Xmas this year. I was skeptical about the issue with the scan line, but I'll be honest with you.I DO notice them. But only when you're navigating quickly though the XMB and looking at the screen from 3 inches away.So it's really not a big deal. I don't see them at all in games, and I've played Ratchet %26 Clank, God of War and FF VII Crisis Core on it, and I don't see anything. So personally, I'd go with the 3000 series. PSP 2000, the 3000 is only a minor update and is more expensive. Not worth it. A Microphone and a screen with scanlines? Not worth it.

do not listen.

get the 3000. dont go backwards in technology.
lets just say the newer the model the better. so go with 3000. but i heard psp 4000 will come next year... so its best to wait alittle bit. if you dont have an xbox360, i would rather get a xbox360 than a psp. same price $199. or go with ds lite/dsi if you want more games...lol.
you should get psp 2000 if u want to hack games in and save a lot of money or you can get the newer version.all i kno is u cant hack in the psp 3000
PSP 2000, the 3000 is only a minor update and is more expensive. Not worth it. A Microphone and a screen with scanlines? Not worth it.
Well, yeah, it is only a minor update. But for new PSP owners, the 3000 series seems advisable.
The 2 are essentially the same. 3000 has a ''better'' screen, and it has a microphone. Thats it. Not to mention the scan lines which you've probably heard to death by now. AND because of the wider color gamut thing it makes colors look LESS natural. Don't believe me? Just look at any comparison pictures (notice how in the 3000, snake's hair is YELLOW). Sure the 3000 is more vibrant but I prefer a more natural looking image. Check the IGN review of the 3000 (below the picture of MGS4 being compared). Also, chances are, the 2000 will be cheaper, and its not like its got a worse battery life or anything like that so just go with the 2000, you aren't missing out on anything. As for me, I'm still using a first generation PSP and I've got no problem with it so really all these updates aren't that big a deal. Your still playing the same games and thats probably whats most important so whatever psp, who cares.
I suggest the 3000. So far I haven't noticed the scan lines in play, which is most important. I love the ability to be able to connect to a ANY TV and play it on screen. I bought the composite AV cable and it works great. You can buy the component cable if you have an HD TV. By May, you might only be able to buy a used 2000, so that may make it a lot cheaper, but you might not be able to find it new.
psp2000. you should just have created a poll.
PSP-2000 if u want it cheap.

I bought PSP-3000 because PSP-2000 bundle was horrible. :(
I bought a 3000 and compared to my friend's 2000, it's superior. The screen is beautiful, I don't notice the scanlines unless I have a still picture and I'm looking for them. The higher refresh rate and richer colours will show themselves in 2D games like Street Fighter Alpha 3.
I have both. 3000>2000. Period.
I have both. 3000>2000. Period.
Can't say it any better than that.
I just bought my PSP 3000 to upgrade my 1000 and the colors of the PSP 3000 are so much more sharper and vibrant! You hardly notice the so called ''scan lines'' when your playing. Just get the 3000 rachet bundle!
get the 3000 my two best friends got it for christmas and we cant find any mysterious ''scan lines''
If you see 2000 new and at a lower price get it or else get the 3000. It's not the tech that matter, it's what you get from what you buy and the extra's aren't really worth it if it costs more than 10$ imo. If it was the opposite then all hell would break loose.:PSo if you find any 2000's which are new (I doubt it by the time it's may) get it, or else get a 3000.
