Analog stick issues

Hey guys my PSP's analog stick is kinda annoying me. While playing Ridge Racer, sometimes it makes the car move while I'm using the D-pad. I'm sure the faceplate was switched before so what do you guys think? Analog stick issues
My old psp 1000 analog stick eventually got dirty and would stick so that my chars would keep going in a direction even though I let go. Since it was out of warranty I hunted down an article on how to take the psp apart and then how to take the analog stick apart. I cleaned the contacts inside and it works fine now. Analog stick issues
blow at it, twist it, and jerk it.
