Yeah, I believe sony has tricks hidden up thier sleeves for 2009. And I think sony announced Gran Turismo Mobile for the PSP in 2009. With the PSN store getting bigger and now supported with the PSP due to the 4.05 firmware update, the PSP may now be better than ever before.Who says the PSP is dead?

That is the one game I'm actually really excited about for PSP this year. - My favorite PSP titles were the Final Fantasy Anniversaries, I really wish Square did the ff3 and 4 remakes on PSP rather than the DS. The Art style used in 1 and 2 on PSP completely rocked.

the psp is not dead , but suffers from a serious lack of good games , every time i go to the store they have the same crap , and none of it is good. and whats up with umd movies? theres no freakin way I'm paying as much for a umd as a brand new release blu-ray disc. I really like my PSP , but I havn't bought a new game for it since god of war:COL.

Out of all the PSP games, I went through almost all of them and I only have a select few games that I actually kept. The reason why Sony is having trouble with the PSP titles is bcuz just look at the software sales. The best selling PSP game to date is Daxter at 2.3 million while the best selling DS game is Nintendogs which is at what 20.3 million? Theres a huge gap and that's bcuz people hack their PSP's and play pirated games from their memory stick. That's why software sales are low, thats why developers don't really care about the PSP and go for the DS bcuz they know they'll make more money there. If it continues this way, the PSP won't have any games coming out for it by 2010. Yeah sure GT, Devil May cry, Dissedia FF are coming out but who's to say they will help the PSP's game library. Heck Sony thought that God of War would help the PSP but it didn't even sell 1 million units yet for christ's sake! You can tell developer Ready at Dawn is pissed of, Daxter didn't sell too well and now God of War, if Ready at Dawn won't make anymore quality PSP games, we are in trouble. SO either way, we are in trouble. The PSP 3000 is a solution bcuz you get hack it but who's to say how long will that last.STOP PIRATING GAMES DAMMIT!
Yeah these games like a real party starter. But the PSP might be dead because the cause of the hackers.
People who say PSP is dead are just trolls or just DS fanboys,I love my PSP. I've been playing Crisis Core non-stop the whole Christmas/Winter break. PSP is the reason I love RPG now and will make my gaming life even better. PSP 09' lineup looks good so far, I wonder what else tricks Sony has up there sleeves.
Why do ppl keep saying soney has tricks up their sleeve? honestly when ever sony or any other big gaming company has anything ''big up their sleeve'' they announce it 3 to 4 years before it comes out, so if they do have some big announcement next year it would probably be for a psp2. Also psp isnt dead its just not the most popular handheld on the market right now eventhough it probably is the best in terms of technology.

LBP just came out for PS3 and I don't think sony will port it any time soon...
