So I finally picked up my old PSP that I haven't touched in about 6 months now (due to school and other activities) and now, when I put a game in, nothing loads. The disc just sounds like it is being skipped about 10 or so times, and then I just wait for it to load... And nothing happens. Then the game just won't do anything. Everything else works just fine; it's just the games that won't work on it. I've tried 10 different types of games, some mine, some not, so I know it isn't the games themselves. Any insight would be great. ThanksProblem with loading the games on the PS ...
Nobody knows? Well where/who should I contact for tech support?Problem with loading the games on the PS ...
Go to playstation.com for support, it seems like your psp may have gotten a little too dusty over the period of 6 months. Try opening the UMD Drive and blow out any dust.
Well I blew on it and nothing really happened, except, thankfully, the clicking noise isn't as loud as before, but I still can't read the disc.
Dang, no info? :( Well I contacted Sony and I need to pony up 89 bucks+Shipping and Handling... grah...
Sounds like either something is fried in your PSP, or its just dead because of old age.
Well that really stinks. :( I hope that they can fix it, or I just go and purchase one of those new PSP-3000s... But I don't want to because this one have is a special Star Wars Limited Edition Ceramic White PSP.... Has anyone had the experience of sending in there stuff to Sony to fix? Do they do it?

As long as you didn't break term agreement by attempting a hack or anything such as that they should.
All right cool. I haven't done anything illegal on my PSPs, so I should be fine.... Now just to save up the cash. Thanks for the help.
