Is psp 3000 really worth the money?

IS psp 3000 actually much better than the later versions and worth the money? Is psp 3000 really worth the money?
IF you don't have a psp than get the 3000. If you already have a psp like a 2000 than no.Is psp 3000 really worth the money?
I already have psp 1000. Should i get 3000?

Yes, but sell the old one first.
I just traded in my 1000 for a 3000 and it was totally worth it. The colors are brighter, and the PSP itself is lighter ad I love being able to connected it to a TV to play. Upgrade now!
Great. Gonna save up now:P
Id say no... scan lines are the devil... I'm planning on waiting for psp2 or psp4000 if there is one...
There's always gonna be a better version lolz
No. The scanlines are horrible (from what I have seen) showing it has faulty software, and have you heard that they cancled the next bundle because of that? Yes, they have. The microphone? Just get a 2000 for cheap and buy a 20 dollar skype kit on Amazon.com. The 3000 is NOT worth it AT ALL.
New to the family, I chose the psp 2000 over the latest version. I don't play outside much really, The colors of the psp slim are beautiful enough, and a brighter screen would be a waste of battery life when you play games on the long run. Built in mic.. hmm... one mic on my portable is enough, and i have a built in mic on my ds lite. As mentioned above just buy a skype kit. At least people won't look at you talking with your psp. hmm imho pretty much I think it's just a minor upgrade....

Anyway, its actually been proven the new screen doesn't take battery life so that point doesn't really stand up. I keep up with all the PSP news.
get the 3000, dont listen to the piised off people who got a 2000 1 month before the 3000 came out, but sell your old one

I have no scanlines on my PSP 3000 at all, and Amazon has the 3000 for the same price as the 2000 right now. So, why would anyone buy a $170 PSP plus a $20 skype kit when they could just buy a $170 PSP with the mic built in?

Let me first say that I never owned a 1000 or 2000, although I did play the 1000 a little bit. I just got a 3000 and a bunch of games and movies for Christmas (I officially have the best wife ever, in case anyone was wondering), and I have to say that the gaming experience is significantly better on the 3000 than on the 1000s that I have played. The PSP and Logitech case is damn near smaller and lighter the 1000 by itself. The built in mic is genius, and I plan on using the hell out of Skype when I'm deployed next year...this way, I just need to pick up the PSP and get connected, no need to hassle with an external mic.All in all, I'm loving this thing, but as I said, I never actually owned either of the previous versions, so take my opinion with a goodly portion of salt.

I've had a PSP Phat since it first came out and a PSP 2000 since August. I'm not one of those people.
My friend has a PSP - 3000. The scanlines are almost unbearable. Either the people who say they are barely noticeable are blind, or I am just seeing things. I don't recommend getting one. Get a 2000 or wait for what might come.
get the psp 3000 if you have the 1000 its worth the money
get the psp 3000 if you have the 1000 its worth the money
I laughed.I wouldn't even give up my 1001 for a 2000!My PSP 1001 just broke, unfortunately, and it was a near launch-day system.I'm going to be buying a second PSP 1001, there's more functionality with it compared to the later generation PSP's and I don't mind the size or weight.
