Could someone explain to me please why sony don't just release games on memory cards? Nowadays a 2gb card retails for somewhere in the vicinity of a new game. It's faster, quieter and smaller. And not just games. Why not release cds, movies, and other software just on cards? Without the need for a disc drive couldn't this then bring the price down for both the psp and its games?Games on memory cards.

The issue with memory cards is that they can still go bad. And besides they don't want to give up on the UMD.

Games could be better if they were on memory cards as they hold more information than umd's, but I don't know if I'd trust them completely. They'd be way more expensive as well.
