Charging???

K so my friend just gave me his psp and he forgot to give me the cords. So I want to know how to charge my psp on my computer or something.. i have a usb that fits in it but it wont charge even when I turn it on...Can I do that or do I just have to wait for the charger?:(Charging???
u need to have the proper firmware or a 2000 series psp . . . .if not wait for the charger im not susre wat fimware it is soCharging???
I believe only the Slim(2000 series) and Bright (3000 series) have the ability to charge via USB. If it is a 1000 series, you'll have to wait for the cords. I do not own a Slim or a Bright, but it sounds like you would need to do a firmware update to get it the ability to charge with a USB cable. However, to update your PSP you need a full charge and an AC adaptor, so if the battery is dead or near dead, you'll need to wait for the cords anyway.
if its the fat you must wait. oh and take my advice. DO NOT use other chargers, even it they are the same type. big mistake by my friend :D

Just buy a new charger for PSP, I bought 2 just because they are somewhat cheap.
